The veterinarian joining this team will provide medical and surgical care for small-animal patients presenting with urgent and emergency conditions. What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate, stabilize, diagnose, and treat emergency and urgent-care patients
  • Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Manage hospitalized patients and ongoing case care
  • Perform emergency procedures and surgery when indicated
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and fellow veterinarians
  • Maintain thorough medical records and appropriate follow-up care
  • Participate in continued clinical learning and professional development

What We’re Looking For

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Current veterinary license or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure
  • Strong clinical judgment and interest in emergency medicine
  • General medicine and surgical skills appropriate to experience level
  • Effective client communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

Emergency experience is preferred; however, new graduates with a strong interest in emergency medicine and a desire for mentorship are encouraged to apply.

What This Opportunity Offers

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Competitive compensation
  • Sign-on incentive
  • Relocation assistance
  • Student loan assistance
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees
  • Continuing education support
  • Professional dues support
  • Mentorship and professional development
  • Medical autonomy
  • Potential future ownership opportunity

The North Georgia mountain region offers an appealing combination of outdoor recreation, mountain communities, lakes, hiking and access to larger metropolitan areas while maintaining a more relaxed day-to-day lifestyle.

This opportunity may be especially attractive to a veterinarian who wants the challenge and variety of emergency medicine with flexibility, mentorship, continued professional growth, and the ability to build a long-term career.
