DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in East Los Angeles County. This opportunity offers a broad general practice caseload, medical autonomy, mentorship, and an experienced team focused on collaborative patient care.
Veterinarians at different stages of their careers are encouraged to explore the opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Your caseload may include:
- Wellness and preventive medicine
- General medical care
- Diagnostic workups and case management
- Routine surgery
- Dentistry
- Same-day sick visits
- Client education and communication
- Collaboration with veterinarians and support staff
You’ll have room to continue developing your medical, surgical, and dental skills while practicing within a supportive team environment.
What They’re Looking For
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Active California veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency or developing proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
- Interest in continued professional development
DEA licensure and USDA accreditation are preferred but are not required at the time of application.
Compensation & Benefits
Base compensation: $120,000–$180,000, depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and compensation structure.
