DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established companion animal practice in the St. Louis metro area. This opportunity offers a broad general practice caseload, an experienced support team, medical autonomy, and a collaborative environment.
The schedule is designed for a veterinarian seeking consistent part-time work while maintaining flexibility outside the hospital.
What You’ll Do
Your caseload may include:
- Wellness and preventive medicine
- General medical care
- Diagnostic workups and case management
- Routine surgery
- Dentistry
- Client education and communication
- Collaboration with veterinarians and experienced support staff
You’ll have the autonomy to practice medicine thoughtfully while having a capable team around you.
What They’re Looking For
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Active Missouri veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- General medicine and surgery proficiency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Approximately one year or more of clinical experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Market-based compensation range: $55–$85/hour, depending on experience, schedule, clinical skill set, and compensation structure.
