DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for a small animal practice in the San Antonio metro area. The role blends traditional general practice with urgent care, creating a varied caseload without requiring overnight emergency hospitalization.
You’ll join an experienced, collaborative veterinary team with an emphasis on quality medicine, professional growth, and a supportive working environment.
What You’ll Do
Your caseload may include:
- Wellness and preventive care
- General medicine
- Diagnostic workups and case management
- Same-day sick and urgent cases
- Routine procedures and surgery
- Client education and communication
- Collaboration with veterinarians and support staff
This is a good fit for a veterinarian who enjoys variety and wants exposure to both routine and more time-sensitive cases.
What They’re Looking For
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Active Texas veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- DEA license or ability to obtain one
- USDA accreditation or ability to obtain it
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
- Comfort working with a varied small animal caseload
